We are currently seeking a Manager, PK Laboratory to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, PK Laboratory at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacokinetics (PK) laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely analysis of clinical samples in support of drug development programs. We are currently seeking a Manager, PK Laboratory to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, PK Laboratory at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing all pharmacokinetics (PK) laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely analysis of clinical samples in support of drug development programs. You will lead a team of scientists and technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving high-quality laboratory performance.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the PK laboratory, including the analysis of clinical samples for pharmacokinetic studies.
- Ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines in all laboratory activities.
- Leading and mentoring a team of scientists and technicians, providing training and support to ensure high-quality and efficient lab work.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize laboratory workflow, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborating with clinical and research teams to ensure timely analysis and reporting of PK data in support of clinical trials and drug development programs.
- Monitoring laboratory performance, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and managing laboratory resources and equipment.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing a pharmacokinetics or related laboratory, with a strong understanding of PK analysis and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage laboratory personnel and ensure high-quality lab performance.
- Excellent knowledge of GLP, GCP, and other relevant guidelines and regulations for clinical research laboratories.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and safety in all laboratory operations.
