Bachelor's degree from a (4) year college or university; or a minimum of eight years (8) progressive management/supervision related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth knowledge and prior experience with 14CFR Part 21 operations is preferred.
FAA A&P License preferred.

Description:
Manager of PMA Quality Control oversees the Engineering Services PMA Inspection Team and quality system while ensuring the integrity of the product and services of the company, compliance with the FAA regulations, AAR Corporate policies and procedures, and other regulatory agencies as applicable.
What you will be responsible for:
- Assume responsibility for the overall operation of AAR Engineering Services Quality Management System.
- Supervise and perform same duties as PMA QC Inspectors and Authorized Release Document Inspectors (issue FAA Form 8130-3).
- Coordinate training of the inspection operations.
- Verify Receiving Inspection is in compliance with the purchase order, which includes certification and traceability of parts and materials.
- Assume responsibility for FAA PMA inspection approvals and submit applications to the FAA Certificate Management Section.
- Manage the internal audit schedule, conduct audits and manage corrective action events in AAR's APRISe system.
- Meet with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems.
- Prepare for and represent the company during FAA and ASA-100 audits.
- Prepare all necessary reports as required by customers and staff personnel (progress, status, productivity).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities and all other duties as assigned
