Key Responsibilities:

The Manager-Provisioning develops and executes the strategy for onboard product (customer and aircraft) supply chain processes to ensure optimal inventory stock levels are available at the right locations to support operational reliability and customer service. The Manager oversees inventory forecasting, planning and vendor management responsibilities at warehouses and distribution centers and is responsible for the availability of onboard products globally. The Manager will also be tasked with developing long-term strategies and plans to integrate provisioning operation with other Technical Operations distribution groups to reduce cost and improve service levels.

  • Develops and executes the strategy for onboard product supply chain processes to maintain optimal inventory stock levels
  • Supports operational reliability and customer service
  • Manages inventory to ensure cost effective and efficient operations
  • Creates forecast and manages operation to that forecast
  • Monitors the status of replenishment orders and ensures product arrives at distribution points at the right time to prevent shortages at stations globally
  • Identifies and raises awareness around potential risks in the supply chain
  • Investigates and resolves product shortages with manufacturers, distributors, and transportation companies
  • Utilizes continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
  • Develops tools and dashboards to measure KPIs and drive performance improvement
  • Identifies gaps and creates processes to close those gaps
  • Works with MLCO and other vendors to ensure SLAs are tracked and monitors
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Inflight, and Cabins in defining the products offered to our customers
  • Ensures that Provisioning employees can execute to defined standards
  • Makes recommendations on minimizing multiple part numbers and reducing complexity of services offered to reduce the risk of defects in storage of product
  • Collaborates with Procurement in development of product contracts and order placement
  • Create roll out plans for new product launches and transitions


Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, operations research or engineering required
  • 4+ years of work experience in warehousing, distribution, supply chain, logistics, or a related field
  • Understanding of supply chain functions including sourcing/procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, warehousing and logistics
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills up to executive leadership
  • Exhibits an analytical approach to problem solving with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to partner with and influence co-workers cross-departmentally
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • MS degree in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, data science/machine learning, operations research and/or MBA
  • Three (3) years management experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Supply chain management or inventory planning expertise
