The Project Quality Manager is responsible to build and/or manage the Project Exyte Quality team by leading all QA/QC activities of an assigned project. The Project Quality Manager will be responsible to provide and develop a Project Quality Plan for ensuring the successful and safe support to all the departments involved in the Projects, such as Engineering and Design, Procurement and Subcontracting, Commercial, Project Management, Construction Management, Commissioning Management, etc. in close collaboration with internal department leaders, subcontractors, and clients. This role offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic team, delivering complex projects in diverse industries. Provides quality services in accordance with Exyte internal policy, strategy and requirements as well as with Client specifications and/or local regulations. This role will be responsible for managing the Quality program to ensure comprehensive quality of execution for the Customer's satisfaction

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Leadership & Expertise: Provide overall leadership and guidance to all assigned Project QA/QC Team members to ensure successful execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for management and the operations team to ensure alignment and integration of QA/QC activities and must lead the identification and resolution of QA/QC issues, deviation or NCR ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Integrated Quality Assurance/Quality Control Planning and Quality Execution Plans: Develop, coordinate, and execute an Integrated Quality Plan, working closely with all the departments to align activities. Review and mature Quality Execution Plans, consolidating them into an Integrated Quality Plan and develop/maintain Quality Procedures, Reporting, Progress Tracking, Certification Tracking Systems, and Quality processes.
  • Project Reviews & Safety: Actively participate in Project Safety and Operability reviews, providing Quality input and guidance working with EHS to enforce/ensure adherence to Exyte's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies during QA/QC activities Effective Field Completion: Develop comprehensive plans and interfaces to ensure safe and effective field activities
  • Staffing and Schedule Management: Ensure that QA/QC activities are adequately staffed, planned, and executed according to schedule, tracking certifications and quality objectives. Provide technical and field support to QA/QC staff, ensuring the proper documentation and recording of all QA/QC activities. Lead the preparation, maintenance, and progress monitoring of the Quality activities schedule, ensuring alignment with construction and commissioning timelines. Oversee the planning and execution of handover procedures with required documentation.
  • Analyzes QA/QC elements of tender bids and report to Project Manager
  • Reviews in detail and approves of subcontractors and suppliers Quality Plans and issues report thereon. Liaises with Construction Managers (System Owners) and Designers as required
  • Reviews specifications to identify all testing and inspections required and consolidates into unified testing matrix. Also, will have the authority to require additional test(s), which are not included in the testing matrix, if deemed necessary
  • Ensures that all information required by the project Quality Plan and specifications are submitted and complies with Owner requirements and specifications, and is continually reviewed through the project duration
  • Interfaces and manages the coordinated Quality Meetings with the Owner, sub-contractors
  • Identifies deviation and non-conformities and participates in the process of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Organizes regular progress and dedicated meetings to Collaborate with subcontractors and the client's representatives. Collaboration: Liaise with internal Exyte Representatives, Subcontractors, Client and third-party Inspectors (if and when applicable) during execution to ensure seamless integration of processes.


Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (the required education degree may be substituted by extensive professional experience involving similar work responsibilities and/or additional training certificates in relevant domains)
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quality Management in construction companies
  • Multidisciplinary experience in Quality Management; Civil, Structural Steel, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation, Process, with ensuring that QA/QC activities are performed aligned with Project standards, specifications, local regulations and laws, international standards, and aligned with Client needs
  • Semi-conductor experiences a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in multidiscipline Quality Assurance and Quality Control management.
  • Quality management in complex projects with multi-national collaboration, managing risks and costs, and reporting on progress to manage projects or initiatives within the boundaries of human, system performance, quality and financial constraints.
  • Inclusive leadership (maintaining a healthy working environment), with a high level of headship to motivate results defined for the given project and to contribute to the development of needed skills.
  • Stakeholder management: building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with all Project stakeholders proactively initiating solutions-oriented proposals to reach consensus.
  • High-level strategic negotiation skills with multi-national internal and external partners, including the willingness to solicit and consider varying inputs and opinions, to make appropriate recommendations and tough decisions aligned with the Exyte project's objectives.
