Description
Are you that rare person who excels at managing the hearts and minds of a team while also being versed in quantum technologies? Do you thrive on building high-performance teams as well as bringing scientific innovation through to product delivery? Do you move seamlessly from high level architecture discussions to coaching team leads to identifying potential risks in a development schedule? Are you comfortable pivoting when needed? Do you enjoy working at the nexus of people and cutting-edge technology? If you answered yes to these questions (or most of them), we're looking for you to join us at Photonic!
The Quantum Processors team is an integral part of the Research & Development department at Photonic, where we're focused on building scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computers based on photonically-linked silicon spins.
In this role, you'll manage a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team of scientists and quantum engineers responsible for qubit development, networking, and complete quantum systems. You may have some expertise in superconducting, ion/atom, or defect centre qubits. (We know it's unlikely you'll have domain expertise in all of these areas, so we hope you consider applying if you're awesome at people management and have worked with quantum technologies before.)
Please include a cover letter with your resume (in one file) describing how you would be a great fit at Photonic and what attributes you could bring to our growing team.
