Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Summary

The Department of Congenital Heart Surgery is seeking a manager of research operations to assist with departmental grant operations, budget, pre and post award management and implementation of activities.

Job Duties

• Recruit, onboard, supervise, and direct the daily activities of Congenital Heart Surgery research staff.
• Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and other written research materials.
• Prepare activity and budget reports for use by the principal investigator (PI).
• Partner with Chief & TCH department administrator on annual budget.
• Participate at Co-Lead on the Heart Center Research Operations Committee. Partner with Co-lead to drive in annual initiatives for the Heart Center.
• Manage post award research administration.
• Represent surgery on the Heart Center, research operations team.
• Participate in weekly meetings with Heart Center research operations team, Bi- weekly meetings with Heart Center leadership.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
