Position Summary
The Sr. Security Engineer will be responsible for identification and tracking of potential security incidents across the enterprise. Daily responsibilities will focus on the monitoring of security events and reports from a variety of security systems. Interaction with various operations teams to validate the remediation security incidents with a focus on service is key to the overall corporate security program. Work alongside senior engineers and architects to deliver superior security services and security architecture insight to CVS Wellpartner business units A successful candidate will be meticulous, have a strong interest in system and network security and desire to be a member of a teamwork-oriented organization.
Review Vulnerability Scan data and perform risk assessments to identify system vulnerabilities that need to be remediated. Produce weekly and monthly security metrics and be able to develop solutions to improve the overall effectiveness across the security landscape to mitigate security threats. Manage security analyst to ensure adequate security coverage
Management of all security toolset daily. Ability to tweak, update and recommend changes based on security threat landscape. Provide security architecture recommendation when needed.
Identify any gaps and provide recommendations to mitigate current threats. Coordinate, escalate security issues based of applicable tools and known threat intelligence.
Required Qualifications
7+ years Proficient in Microsoft Windows Servers, Linux operating System, and Firewalls. Standard Security tools
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
GSEC
CCST, CCNP Security
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred; may consider comparable work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$111,240.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
