About This Opportunity

Job Summary:

Manage the relationship between Information Technology (IT) and assigned business units working directly with middle and Senior Management; works with business units to identify IT Integration needs and document technical requirements; collaborates with IT teams to execute requirements and ensure technical needs of the business unit are met; builds and maintains relationships with all levels of management.

Hold the Deman Chain Technology support staff accountable for their SLA requirements related to incident and problem management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage engineering teams, projects, performance, and career growth of engineers.

- Communicate roadmaps with the team, leaders, and stakeholders.

- Responsible for incident and problem management related to demand chain Technology including managing SLA adherence of our vendor / partners.

- Drive the coordination of the appropriate resources for timely resolution of critical incidents and ensuring timely reporting of root cause.

- Liaises between IT and business units to gather IT Integration business requirements; provides support and transparency.

- Facilitates sessions with stakeholders to determine and document technical requirements.

- Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure customer needs are met by reviewing requirements, status updates, and associated issues.

- Identifies system requirements and evaluates new applications.

- Documents interfaces between new and legacy systems.

- Collaborates closely with IT Architects to design optimal technical solutions to meet business needs while aligning with IT strategies.

- Develops and presents concepts and business cases. Make recommendations to Management accordingly.

Works with Management of assigned business unit to ensure the Company is leveraging technology to maximize efficiencies as a Company.

- Advises and guides business units in the process of developing system enhancements, ideas, and work requests.

- Captures potential benefits to assist with prioritization.

- Performs risk and business impact analysis for proposed enhancements and changes to business systems.

- Reviews and documents of business processes; recommends and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Develops test plans and coordinates software testing with internal partners. Completes testing when appropriate.

- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of Management experience.

Specific knowledge and skills:

- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Has decision making capability, accountability, and ability to direct, execute, coach and support at an expert level

- Displays a strong sense of urgency related to incident management.

- A history of managing outsourced resources and holding them accountable for contractual obligations.

- Working knowledge of Logistics / Supply Chain.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment

- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision

- Strong facilitation skills for requirement elicitation and management communications

- Excellent understanding of client operations and systems.

- Strong organizational and collaborative skills

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve complex issues

- Positive, professional attitude and adaptive to change

- Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive the optimal return on investment (ROI)

- Ability to multi-task and track multiple efforts concurrently

- Understanding of organizational change management (OCM) to assist with adoption of system changes

- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching.
