About this opportunity
Reporting to the Director of IT Applications, this position acting as a strategic partner and conduit to the business, is responsible for ensuring alignment between the business segment and the IT organization with respect to business challenges and needs, and the IT organizations drive towards sustainable, scalable and cost effective solutions.

Segment Relationship Management
- Understand and translate Rehab business strategy into product strategy through collaboration with Rehab stakeholders and key technology vendors/partners and funders.
- Act as a liaison between the Rehab business segment and the IT organization by consulting and communicating with leaders and to understand business requirements (needs, segment opportunities, revenue targets, operating challenges, growth strategies).
- Maintains regular touchpoints with key Rehab stakeholders for projects and major applications.
- Represents the Director & CIO as delegates as required.
- Serves as an escalation point with key vendors to resolving operational issues with key applications.
- Ensures the successful rollout of technology that supports the business segment.
- Conducts research on emerging technology trends in the Rehab space
- Represents Rehab in meetings with Funders and other partnerships on the development and implementation of programs.
- Supports the creation and response of Funder opportunities and RFPs.
- Assists in the creation and presentation of business case for technology.
Application Portfolio Management
- Analyze business and funder needs, current market trends, and support potential partnerships
- Support the assessment of current technologies against other solutions in the marketplace, denoting differentiation and competition in the space (Practice Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, etc).
- Analyze business and funder requirements and develop and communicate strategies and programs to ensure they're met.
- Enable the resolution of major security requirements as identfied by the CISO.
- Serve as the key owner of all major Rehab Technologies employed within CBI Health.
- Drives standardization and optimization of technology platforms to reduce fragmentation and increase operational efficiency.
- Drive assessment, planning and configuration throughout the Rehab organization to support RFP responses and other business development opportunities with funders.
- Oversee the management of the product roadmap for major Rehab Systems (ClinicMaster)
- Oversee the assessment, planning and delivery of feature releases from major Rehab Vendors (ClinicMaster)
- Support the IT Solutions in appraising new ideas and strategize appropriate enablement plans
- Act as the escalation point between vendors and CBI Health stakeholders/users for critical system performance issues (outages, performance impacts, module failures, funder integration issues).
- Oversee the development and maintainance of a high-level capability roadmap to articulate the growth capability of the technology with the evolving needs of the business.
Management of Staff
- Conduct hiring, mentoring, development and performance management of direct and indirect reports
- Management and coordination of direct and indirect reports in a matrixed environment
- Plan, assign and direct the activities of the various functions within the portfolio to meet the goals of the IT operational plan, IT strategic plan and Rehab strategic plan
- Manage and approve staff hours allocation for OPEX/CAPEX against all projects and initiatives.
- Facilitating a positive working environment and culture through engagement activities, staff meetings, and events.
What you will need to be successful
- A professional designation or undergraduate degree in the healthcare or computer science field
- 3+ Years of experience managing teams and technology solutions in the healthcare context
- Strong experience and knowledge of funding and operating models within the Rehabilitation space
- Strong experience with technologies within the Rehabilitation space.
- Proven success in managing technology vendor and stakeholder relationships
- High effectiveness in communication and coordination of cross-functional teams
- Exceptional writing, presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
- Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
