Manages the daily operational activities of two or more of the following service lines in a union environment: Housekeeping, Laundry and Linens or Patient Transportation in alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization. Oversees >75 FTEs.

Manages two or more unrelated departments, one of which includes Housekeeping, Laundry and Linens or Patient Transport.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Facilities Management, or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in housekeeping or food services supervision or management.
- Experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of operations, including staffing, scheduling, budget management and work-flow planning.
- Experience working in a union environment preferred.
- Experience with using every day technology tools (e.g. email, spreadsheets, word processing, voicemail, internet / intranet) to access, organize and store job-related information.
Skills:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
