Role: Manager, Technical and Product Sales
Status: Regular, Full Time

Location: GTA / Ontario

The Manager of Technical and Product Sales is responsible for the complete and overall availability of equipment, product knowledge, and product offerings. This is a critical role supporting the field, helping grow our customer base through our product lineup that is current with market trends and inline with Enercare values. Your positive attitude, technical, analytical, and attention to detail will help with success in the position.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market, plan and carry out product launches
  • Given that you are the expert at product sales be the "go to" for field inquiries of a technical nature that the sales force seeks assistance with in selling, pricing or promoting in unique applications
  • Work closely with the manager of Sales Performance, VP of Sales, Director of Sales, and procurement team
  • Monitor changes in the industry and suppliers based on environmental, political, economical factors
  • Available as technical support, driving increased continuity and sales value for HVAC, Water Heater, Water Treatment.
  • Create and manage systems to inform the salesforce of product limitations, shortages that maybe impacted by supply chain
  • Support technical sales inquiries for unique installation applications
  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messaging
  • All relevant entry of products in salesforce, SKU creation in GERS,
  • Review and support of products in the field that has minimal sales such as tankless, water heaters, HRVs, fireplaces, boilers, combo systems IAQ etc
  • Transform product updates to the Ipad process via Salesforce
  • Project work such as rebuilding of the EMC technical job aid
  • Mentoring, coaching, working with training department on implementing necessary training plans for continuous improvement on technical knowledge and understanding
  • Maintain google drive storage of technical aids and specifications, ensure adequate updates available to EMC's and related parties specific to HVAC
  • Evaluate & report on all sales metrics and advise / implement training programs for improvement
  • Liase with product Managers and vendors for field programs and provide insight into how new approaches can work or be implemented
  • Monitor the assessment activities as much as possible while prioritizing the responsibilities listed above

Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of HVAC industry
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in direct style sales
  • Ability to motivate and focus staff to meet or exceed district targets
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent knowledge of the company policies and procedures
  • Sound base of technical and computer skill knowledge
  • Sales Force and Excel knowledge considered a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Capable of working under pressure. Meeting deadlines, productivity, and financial targets
