The Zaxby's Support Center is looking for a Manager of Testing & Implementation to join the Operations Services team. The Manager, Testing & Implementation is responsible for ensuring the coordination, consolidation, and smooth execution of all field tests and implementations. He or she will proactively manage the entire testing process, including testing standards and processes, as well as management of the Zaxby's Support Center relationship between managers and franchisees of test stores. Additionally, this role ensures the adherence of all testing protocols and procedures as well as provides feedback and recommendations on all test products based upon field visits and observations. For implementations, led by the Operations department, this position will act as a main point of contact and lead other operations teams through completion of implementation. The Manager of Testing & Implementation will act as the team leader for the Testing & Implementation team and as the main point of contact for the Operations Department to answer questions and gather feedback on tests and implementations.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA and allows for a hybrid work schedule that includes 3 in-office days per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for all forms of testing standards documentation as well as other materials and tools that may be subsequently developed for testing, implementation, training, operations support
  • Review and comprehend testing protocol and deliverables (testing standards and processes; testing calendar; scope; smartsheet; timelines)
  • Responsible for the development of support materials for field tests and implementation (manager surveys, best practices, field visit surveys, distribution list, training schedule, introductory email, and facilitator kit)
  • Conduct field training for team members, managers, and franchisees of all test stores
  • Document all expenses of activities related to assigned areas of the business; forecast and manage project budgeting and yearly team budget
  • Ensure compliance of testing protocol and operational procedures for test products
  • Monitor, recommend, and implement necessary changes to test procedures and documents
  • Complete reviews on training materials, memos, and any other operational documentation
  • Provide Field Testing visit findings and write-ups for the test conclusion
  • Conduct and facilitate training for guest intercepts and our Buyer Response Study (BRS)
  • Coordinate Train-the-Trainer (T3) sessions for operations initiatives, implementation and promotional items
  • Assist in developing the Testing and Implementation section of Field Test Support Guides (Store Facing) - Best Practices; POS Guide; FAQ's
  • Collect feedback from the field during the rollout phase of implementation
  • Create and refine all implementation processes to continuously improve and gain efficiencies


KEY COMPETENCIES
  • ServSafe certification required prior to or within 30 days of hire
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Smartsheet
  • Detail oriented; documentation skills; project management, timeline management, change management
  • Strong analytical skills; experience in product testing, testing methods, research, data analytics
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of communicating with diplomacy and tact when in store; also possess an ability to stand firm, with tact, when addressing concerning issues on site
  • Strong sense of urgency in reporting discrepancies in the field that could adversely affect a test's outcome
  • Ability to facilitate training, present, and lead meetings
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and foster development of other members of the team


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience; previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred; PMP certification preferred but not required
