Job Summary
The Manager Warehouse Operations at Vicor oversees all aspects of warehouse operations, including Finished Products inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervisor and ensuring safe and efficient processes, ultimately ensuring smooth flow of goods in a make to order environment.
Job Description
Inventory Management:
Maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (SAP).
Ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
Logistics and Operations:
Overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Managing warehouse space and layout to maximize efficiency.
Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Staff Management:
Recruiting, training, and supervising warehouse staff.
Motivating and evaluating employee performance.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Education / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 7 - 10 years warehouse experience with at least 2 of them in a supervisory role
Strong computer skills specifically with Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience using SAP is strongly preferred
Ability to utilize data to come up with creative problem-solving solutions
Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation.
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
Relevant certifications such as Certified in Production and Inventory Management a plus.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $140,000
