The Role

As the Manager, Web Experience & Digital Usability at Seequent, you will lead the evolution of our web ecosystem, ensuring a seamless, intuitive, and customer-centric digital experience. Our website is the gateway to our brand, solutions, and community, and you will play a key role in shaping and advancing Seequent's presence as the leader in our industry.

In this role, you will define the vision, strategy and execution of web initiatives that enhance usability, drive engagement and support business growth. Working closely with marketing, product, and technology teams, you will ensure our web experience meets the needs of a diverse global audience, from technical users to enterprise decision-makers. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, making it critical to Seequent's digital success across the entire customer journey.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Define and drive a long-term digital experience roadmap that aligns with Seequent's business, product, and brand objectives.
  • Function as the senior experience architect, ensuring that Seequent's digital properties provide an intuitive, seamless and conversion-focused experience.
  • Champion a human-centered design approach, ensuring digital initiatives are built around real customer needs and pain points.
  • Lead efforts un website redesign and digital product evolution, ensuring scalability and alignment with modern UX standards.
  • Drive ongoing website maintenance, enhancing site architecture, navigation, and functionality to improve usability.
  • Build strong partnerships with marketing, product, and senior leadership, ensuring web experience initiatives align with broader business goals.
  • Explore new ways to collaborate and implement modern methodologies to deliver exceptional, high impact digital experiences.
  • Own and manage the Web Team projects, ensuring right-sized agile frameworks are in place for project execution.
  • Oversee change management for digital initiatives, ensuring smooth rollouts of new features and platform updates, integrate new CMS, and automation technologies that enhance scalability.
  • Data-Driven Optimization and Performance Monitoring
  • Use web analytics, heatmaps, and A/B testing to track performance and continuously refine digital experiences.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing Director and analytics teams to develop insights that inform roadmap decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of web designers, developers, and a web coordinator, fostering a high performance, innovative culture.
  • Set the direction and vision for constant improvement in research, ideation, and design processes. Drive a culture of experimentation, encouraging rapid prototyping, iterative testing, and data-backed decision-making.
  • Build a team structure that balances in-house expertise with external agency partnerships, ensuring agility and scalability.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 10 years in digital experience, UX, product management, or be strategy, with a strong focus on usability, customer experience and conversion optimization.
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams and mentoring digital professionals.
  • Proven expertise in user-centered design, information architecture and digital usability principles.
  • Extensive project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Agile method of project management including experience running sprint planning with JIRA, Trello, or similar PM software.
  • Direct experience with CMS platforms (e.g. EM, WordPress, etc) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Marketo).
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Stech, Figma).
  • Strong problem solving analytical and decision-making skills with a data-drive mindset
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring seamless execution from strategy to deployment.
  • Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and trends.

Nice to Have Experience:
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software or technology-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with SEO and personalization strategies.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce) and their role in web experience optimization.
  • Experience leading multi-0region digital strategies, including localization and translation initiatives.

Additional Information

Office-based working environment, work from our Vancouver, British Columbia office two or more days per week.
