Your Role

Manager (full-time; multiple positions)

Manager needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. for overall project management, including project initiation, resource planning, budget allocation, forecasting, milestone planning/tracking, risk/issue tracking, controlling, and closing. Schedule, monitor and oversee the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of customized business systems software applications for multiple projects. Under the direction of a Senior Manager, lead project teams to enable requirement gathering and procurement. Manage and control revenue margins for projects. Plan and implement reporting requirements across different business functions. Define service level agreements for applications and devise plans based on the business criticality. Review project plans and coordinate project activity. Meet with management and vendors to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Coordinate workload and task assignments. Devise strategies for effective test automation across projects to reduce cost. Suggest ideas for proof-of-concepts and prototypes for improvement and automation. Collect and monitor productivity data and implement strategies to improve productivity for projects. Review IT projects and measure risk to scope, schedule, business objective and quality. Mentor the team with respect to functional and technical aspects of project. Supervise and review work done by project team members. Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.

Your Profile

Must have a Master's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Math, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience. Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:
  • Spring, Hibernate, and EC2;
  • Selenium, Soap UI, and Jira; OR
  • Java, HTML, and XML.

  • All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required as needed based on Capgemini business needs. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed. EOE.

    This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
