You'll guide a talented team of engineers and support staff, while partnering with Sales Engineering, Business Development, and Manufacturing to bring high-impact designs to life.

You'll guide a talented team of engineers and support staff, while partnering with Sales Engineering, Business Development, and Manufacturing to bring high-impact designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer and business needs into thoughtful, manufacturable product designs.
- Develop and implement strategic objectives, policies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Direct product design enhancements while maintaining a competitive market position.
- Oversee engineering activities to ensure quality, timeline, and performance standards are met.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Ensure proper documentation, change control, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Program Management, and more.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, ideally in power electronics or battery systems.
- Strong understanding of value-added power and battery assemblies.
- At least 1-3 years of leadership experience with a track record of team development.
- Proficiency with CAD, PADS modeling, and engineering documentation.
What You Bring
- Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented, quality-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ISO Quality Programs, change control, and product safety/emissions standards (IEC 60950-1, IEC 60601-1, EN55011, EN61000, CFR 47).
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with US, European, and Asian listing requirements (TUV, CSA, UL).
- Willingness to travel up to 5%.
