About the Role:

The Manager of Outside Plant Engineering is responsible for leading a dynamic team within a leading telecommunications brand, connecting homeowners, small businesses, enterprises, and carrier partners across the United States. This role is vital for establishing meaningful customer connections and fostering long-term relationships by ensuring customers receive the products they value.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees regarding outside plant installation and maintenance activities
  • Analyze diverse problems by evaluating various factors and exercise sound judgment in selecting appropriate engineering techniques to obtain solutions
  • Plan, analyze, and provide recommendations and work guidance to support the new construction and modification of outside plant network structures and facilities
  • Oversee wireline engineering and construction projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion
  • Serve as the primary contact for problem resolution
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and management guidelines while providing direction to employees

Minimum Requirements:

College degree in Engineering or a related field and 5-7 years of experience, including 0-2 years of supervisory experience, or 9+ years of equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience with 0-2 years of supervisory experience, or a combination of education and related Engineering/Technical experience. This is a safety-sensitive position.
