Description:
As Managing Director/President of LSBX, you will provide executive leadership for our Banking as a Service (BaaS) division, driving strategic vision, growth, and operational excellence. Reporting to the CEO as a member of the executive management team, you will be responsible for the overall success of the BaaS and embedded finance business line, including strategy development, execution, partner management, and P&L responsibility. This role requires a leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with partners while ensuring strong profitability, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans that align with the Bank's objectives and drive growth in the BaaS segment
- Lead expansion initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities through strategic partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, technology providers, and industry stakeholders
- Manage division P&L with full accountability for financial performance and growth targets
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and lead high-performing teams across relationship management, operations, and support functions
- Foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, collaboration, and customer focus
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
- Drive performance management and talent development initiatives
Partner & Product Management
- Oversee the entire partner lifecycle, from due diligence through onboarding and ongoing relationship management
- Co-lead product strategy with Chief Innovation Officer and roadmap development in collaboration with technology and operations teams
- Ensure partner satisfaction through excellent service delivery and proactive relationship management
- Monitor partner performance metrics and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Risk & Compliance Management
- Maintain robust risk management framework for partner evaluation and ongoing monitoring
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and legal teams to maintain appropriate controls
- Present regular updates to the Board and executive leadership on risk and performance metrics
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree, master's degree in business administration, finance, or related field preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in financial services or fintech
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience, with 5+ years in executive management
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling Banking as a Service businesses
Technical & Business Knowledge
- - Understanding of banking technology, payment systems, and fintech ecosystem
- - Strong background in partner management and complex deal structures
- - Proven track record of P&L management and business growth
- - Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
