POSITION OVERVIEWThe Manufacturing and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across production, warehouse, and logistics functions to ensure seamless processes, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimal performance at our manufacturing facilities for Phos-Chek Long Term Fire Retardants and Foams in Rancho Cucamonga and McClellan, CA, as well as our Tolling partners across multiple locations. This role is integral to ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. In this leadership position, the Manufacturing and Logistics Manager will guide a team of skilled operators, implement robust production and warehouse policies, and collaborate closely with other departments to drive continuous improvement in processes. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in propelling the production department to new heights. The Manufacturing and Logistics Manager will conduct all company-related activities with professionalism, safety, and efficiency, in strict adherence to Perimeter Solutions' EH&S policies.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Management:
Oversee production schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective output while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and quality teams to address production challenges and implement process improvements.

Monitor and report key performance metrics, identifying opportunities to optimize production efficiency.
Ensure all operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Warehouse Operations:
Manage inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize variances.
Develop and implement effective storage strategies to maximize warehouse space utilization.
Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storage, and dispatching of goods.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with ISO standards and company policies.

Logistics Coordination:
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to meet delivery schedules and minimize costs.
Coordinate with third-party shippers and carriers to address performance issues and maintain service levels.
Manage inter-company and intra-company transfers to support production and distribution needs.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize the movement of goods and materials.

Requirements:
10+ years of experience in production, warehouse, and/or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management software, and logistics platforms.
Capable of working independently with minimal oversight, while consistently delivering high-quality results.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the company's products/services.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record in implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ISO standards, OSHA requirements, and environmental compliance regulations.
Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools and equipment.
Part of an on-call dispatcher rotation throughout the year.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to work overtime when needed.
Travel may be required to other manufacturing sites.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
This position will be working in a manufacturing site atmosphere.
Extended work periods are to be expected during the period-end closing and fire season.
