Manufacturing Engineer II

Xenter is revolutionizing medicine by developing and launching smart/wireless guidewires and catheters that transmit data through a proprietary wireless network to our proprietary cloud that houses real-time Physical Intelligence medical data.

Reports to VP, Operations

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer II will ensure Xenter products are pulled from R&D into manufacturing following Xenter quality system requirements. Highly repeatable manufacturing processes will be established, validated, and maintained. The use of performance data will be utilized throughout Xenter operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead PFMEA activities.
• Perform process development for manufacturing.
• Assembly and test fixture development, documentation, and qualification.
• Write and maintain manufacturing process documentation.
• Fulfill validation requirements.
• Own process improvement for assigned product and/or processes.
• Support manufacturing to maintain and improve production capability.
• Train junior engineers and assemblers.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Engineering, and others to accomplish team goals and objectives

Minimum Experience

• 3-5 years demonstrated experience in medical device manufacturing or similar.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.

Minimum Education

• BS Mechanical Engineering
• Six Sigma Black Belt, a real plus
