We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with additive and aerospace manufacturing, developing master routers, and designing, implementing, and reviewing procedures and equipment used in the additive manufacturing process.
This is a fulltime position working Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:30pm. We offer competitive pay, health and dental insurance, paid company holidays, paid time off, and a 401K retirement plan.
Job Summary:
Participate in the additive manufacturing of parts and components through the full manufacturing lifecycle from quote to delivery. Review purchase orders, develop master routers, design, implement and review procedures and equipment in the additive manufacturing process, lead continuous improvement projects, test new systems for efficiency, and participate in production meetings.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years manufacturing experience working with CAM, CNC or other similar production techniques or the equivalent combination of education and experience; demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T symbols, specification, and process requirements; demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes; excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully in a multi-priority environment are required. Experience with additive and aerospace manufacturing, practical experience in metal additive manufacturing techniques, knowledge of AS9001 or other quality management systems are strongly preferred.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Taking projects from the point of order, creating a process that matches the customer's expectations, and moving the project to post processing.
- Review and interpret customer drawings and translate into manufacturing routers.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal manufacturing engineering team to best define scope of work.
- Develop master routers to cover processes required by contract to include PO, drawing, CAD, SOW, and exceptions taken at quoting.
- Complete engineering of projects to include stock add to accommodate for post machining to print and programming of the DMLS equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities using lean manufacturing and automation techniques. Lead implementation of these improvements and ensure an effective handoff to production.
- Update and maintain files ; utilize file repository, define rev changes and ensure project files and records are updated and accurate.
- Manage assigned projects to include monitoring project status and adhering to project timelines.
- Sign off on "direct metal inspections" as verification of a complete build. Perform or coordinate inspections of critical features.
- Participate in root cause and corrective action activities.
- Review and interpret material data test reports.
