JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer
LOCATION: Tucson, AZ
ON SITE/HYBRID/REMOTE: On site
SALARY: $40.00 - $43.00/hour
BENEFITS:
10 paid holidays per year
2 weeks of paid time off per year, the current year is pro-rated based on start date

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
This role of Manufacturing Engineer will focus on assembly and fabrication, experience in that area is highly preferred.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineering experience with heavy equipment assembly and fabrication preferred.
Experience with manufacturing processes and assembly line processes preferred.
Continuous improvement and Lean practice experience.
Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing / assembly operations.
Maintain positive, collaborative working relationships by engaging with various personalities including customers, vendors, co-workers, and management while working both individually and as part of a team.
Must be able to take on more complex and advanced engineering projects while balancing project management responsibilities.
Design, specify, runoff, and qualify new semi-automated assembly stations, test equipment, and gages.
Create and maintain process documents and instructions such as Work Instructions.
Proven ability to influence, lead teams, and drive change.
Skill in working efficiently and accurately to keep up with engineering, sales, and production requirements.
Proven results with creation and maintenance of engineering design standards and drawing standards.
Customer-oriented, with the ability to represent engineering ideas and designs to non-technical audiences.
Extensive cross functional team experience including technical and non-technical work.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Proficient software packages (MS Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
