Position Summary

The Manufacturing Excellence (ME) Specialist (TPM Lead) is responsible for supporting manufacturing excellence methodology with special focus on TPM, oversees daily routines and projects of the hourly ME frontline team. Acts as a member of the local leadership team and provides leadership support to cross-functional work groups and factory-wide operations.

  • Support and provide direct coaching and follow-up for all Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) pillars to drive the implementation of Total Performance Management (TPM).
  • Direct work activities for the Manufacturing Excellence frontline team (hourly TPM resources) including schedules, project approvals, and support escalations.
  • Support holistic employee life cycle for Manufacturing Excellence frontline team including career development, performance management, progressive discipline, and training.
  • Establish routines for Manufacturing Excellence frontline team to ensure consistency across shifts and effective support of cross functional work groups.
  • Coach direct reports, peers, and the shop floor on TPM, data-based decision making, standard routines, and other operational best-practices.
  • Support facilitation of Operational Master Planning activities for the factory.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field required and 1+ years' experience in related manufacturing role

OR

High school degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in a related manufacturing role
  • 1+ years direct/indirect leadership experience in a related manufacturing role


Other
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar preferred.
  • Experience with LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or TPM or similar methodology preferred.


The approximate pay range for this position is $86,336 to $108,344. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
