Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Which is where you come in: We have an opening for an out-of-this-world Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift to supervisor the machine department during the 2:30pm - 11:00pm.

What You'll Do (Essential Job Functions):
  • Support and run product realization within parameters of the QMS, including but not limited to:
    • Programming CNC machines
    • Operating CNC machines
    • Operating manual machines as required
    • Performing quality checks are required
  • Direct capacity planning and scheduling for the machine shop.
  • Represent production capacity and capabilities during program planning and production status meetings.
  • Direct daily functions and measure performance of machine shop employees.
  • Perform daily time balancing for machine shop employees/management.
  • Participate in process improvement, recommendation, and validation.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure manufacturability of product.
  • Participate in the MRB and RCCAs as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Bring (Desired Experience and Skills):
  • Expert knowledge of CNC machining
  • Must have expert knowledge of MasterCam to support employees' daily needs
  • Expert knowledge of GD&T
  • Competency in SolidWorks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills


Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Minimum 1 years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum 5 years in a related manufacturing environment.
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or to comply with ITAR requirements.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Custom Microwave, Inc.'s drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Custom Microwave, Inc.'s policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Custom Microwave, Inc.'s manufacturing facility is more than 56,000 square feet. Workers may be exposed to loud noises,chemicals, and other occupational hazards; personal protective equipment may be provided by The Company and at request.
  • Continually required to sit and stand.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery; repetitive motions include, but are not limited to, keyboarding and data entry operations
  • May require occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and crouching to access work supplies
  • Frequent and extensive internal and external communication; ability to utilize a phone and convey accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Must be able to see in artificial/fluorescent lighting
  • May require occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.


Job Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "CMi is Proud to Offer." This position is considered nonexempt paid on an hourly basis and eligible for overtime pay. This position will be a 2nd shift, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Pay range: $33.14- $53.03 based on qualifications and experience.
