Second Profile - Market Data Application Support
Role : L2/L3 Application support along with some enhancements
Preferred Atlanta, but client is ok for Jersey City and Chicago as well
Market Data application / Scripting
Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot
Linux/UNIX background
Python/Shell scripting
Strong technical and communication skills
Database (Sybase, Oracle) application development skills
Background in Java REST API.
Experience working with market data systems is preferred
Experience working with streaming data systems is preferred
Knowledgeable in Market Data Products such as TREP, Active and VELA/SR LABS/Wombat is highly desirable
Experience in the financial markets with understanding of Equities, Futures and Options is desirable
Design and develop Java based applications.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications. Creates prototypes.
Interface with product team to understand requirements.
Document changes for enhancements and new functionality of software programs
Work independently under the guidance of Technical lead.
Participate in peer review, application troubleshooting.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency
