Marketing Manager

Marketing Managers lead the pursuit process, developing compelling marketing materials that secure transformational projects. The marketing manager is responsible for driving pursuit strategy and excellence within their assigned practice(s). Our ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and strategic content tailored to a diverse range of audiences. They should also demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple changing deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.

Position Responsibilities:

Practice Strategy
  • Serve as the marketing contact for assigned practice area, providing strategic support for business development initiatives.
  • Work with practice leaders to help drive strategic efforts for positioning in each region inclusive of thought leadership, teaming partnerships, and speaking opportunities.
  • Conduct and share client and regional research briefs to help support pre-positioning efforts and intel at the point of sale.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned practices. Stays up to date on MN portfolio, keeping all marketing materials and data up to date.
  • Lead design award submittals for assigned practice.
  • Provide support for miscellaneous marketing needs - brochures, thought leadership, social media, industry conferences.

Pursuit Management
  • Manage the pursuit process from start to finish, working with diverse teams to ensure the on-time completion of response materials including:
    • Manage the proposal assembly, drafting content, gathering project and industry information, graphically laying out the content in InDesign, and coordinating with sub-consultants, studio leaders, and graphic designers.
    • Manage interview preparation, working with project teams to develop presentation materials, interview outline generation, research, and coaching as needed.
  • Author and edit high-quality content, ensuring all written materials align with the firm's voice, brand, and messaging.
  • Maintain a robust library of content materials; writes and/or edits project descriptions, resumes, and standard content.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, graphic design, English, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of AEC experience.
  • Intermediate/Expert understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of layout and graphic design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive, audience-specific content and edit complex materials with precision and clarity.
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines.
  • Strong project management and communication skills
