Responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing strategies to promote the organization's products, services, and brand, as well as fostering positive relationships with the community and key stakeholders. Essential Duties
Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the bank's goals for client acquisition, loan generation, deposit acquisition, and shareholder relations.
- Partner with internal departments and leaders to support efficient operations and client communications.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve our goals.
Creative Campaigns:
- Oversee the creation of engaging marketing content, materials and campaigns across digital and print channels to drive client acquisition and product sales, ensuring messaging and positioning are current and compliant.
- Design and produce signage, sales collateral, PowerPoint decks and other graphic design tools needed by the organization.
- Manage special events that reinforce the Seattle Bank brand and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
Brand Management:
- Manage the Seattle Bank brand's development and evolution, crafting and conveying messages with clarity and enthusiasm, working to ensure brand resonates within the clients, the community and staff.
- Develop and maintain brand tools, templates and imagery to support consistent use of Seattle Bank's visual identity.
Community Engagement:
- Manage the organization's corporate giving activities, ensuring alignment with the goals of our Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Strategic Plan.
- Develop staff volunteer opportunities to support the goals of the CRA Strategic Plan and support staff with identifying volunteer leadership positions aligned with their interests.
- Represent the bank at various community business and educational functions to develop awareness of bank services.
Performance Analysis:
- Utilize analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to optimize future campaigns.
- Prepare occasional reports and presentations for leadership, summarizing key metrics, accomplishments, and challenges in marketing and community relations.
- Attend and actively participate in various bank committees as required.
Compliance and Coordination:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry laws, regulations and bank policies, collaborating closely with internal teams to maintain consistency and integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business management, or equivalent career experience.
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, public relations, communications management, and event planning preferred, with a strong preference for candidates with banking experience and marketing experience targeting the high-net-worth market.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to analyze, craft, and implement effective marketing and communication plans.
- Strong graphic design skills and able to quickly develop PowerPoint presentations, printed marketing collateral and digital content.
- Excellent writing skills, with experience writing about financial services and complying with federal bank advertising and related regulations.
- Analytical thinker with a creative approach and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Self-directed, self-motivated, resourceful, with ability to work independently and under minimum supervision.
- Have a community-oriented mindset, eager to build and nurture positive relationships within the local area
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds for set up and tear down of events and moving items upstairs and/or downstairs when necessary.
- Must be willing to travel and attend community events, as necessary.
