Purpose of this Position: As the Marketing Manager at McLeod Software, you will lead the planning, execution, and analysis of integrated marketing communication strategies across the customer and prospect lifecycle. This role is key to enhancing McLeod's brand visibility, generating demand, and enabling the sales team through multi-channel marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Digital Marketing to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Plan, develop, and execute strategic marketing communication campaigns across digital, print, event, and social media channels.
- Oversee and manage McLeod's SEM strategy, including SEO and PPC initiatives, in collaboration with digital marketing resources.
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to align on social media strategy and website updates that foster positive public relations and customer engagement.
- Coordinate advertising campaigns across traditional and digital platforms, making data-driven recommendations for performance improvement.
- Establish brand positioning, identify target audiences, and develop channel-specific marketing plans to reach business goals.
- Guide creative direction across all customer-facing communications, including email, print, video, trade shows, and web content.
- Manage updates and content for key customer and internal communication platforms (e.g., newsletters, client portals, product announcements).
- Participate in industry events and support execution of McLeod-hosted events with marketing deliverables.
- Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on data and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, assets, and events.
- Present campaign ideas and performance outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
Competencies:
- Design and launch multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and sales pipeline growth year-over-year.
- Ensure cohesive messaging across all channels, campaigns, and brand touchpoints, maintaining alignment with McLeod's voice and value proposition.
- Increase website traffic and lead conversion rates through coordinated SEO and paid advertising strategies.
- Deliver data-driven marketing insights that inform strategic direction and increase campaign ROI.
- Provide consistent marketing support to Sales and Product teams through events, collateral, and digital initiatives.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the software or transportation/logistics industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of marketing tools, automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite).
- Proficiency with SEO/SEM tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Experience working with media and established industry contacts is a plus.
Computer Skills:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 5%.
