Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Marketing Operations Manager with Project Management Office (PMO) experience to lead and optimize the operational backbone of our marketing function. This role will be responsible for streamlining workflows, managing marketing technologies, and driving data-informed decision-making across the department. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, cross functional collaboration and organizational tools like Asana, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Miro.

You will serve as the operational leader who ensures marketing initiatives are efficiently planned, executed, and measured-while aligning all marketing projects with broader organizational and PMO standards.

Project Management
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project and campaign timelines, assign resources, and manage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify risks or blockers early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Align marketing project execution with company-wide PMO methodologies and standards.
  • Ensure that projects are properly staffed and within manageable time frames.

Marketing Technology
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain collaborative marketing tech stack (e.g., Asana, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Cloud), and analytics platforms.
  • Drive integration and data consistency across all tools and systems.
  • Create and manage documentation and training materials for internal teams on new and existing tools.

Process Optimization
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and reduce friction.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Regularly audit operational workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Reporting
  • Track project timing and resourcing to better understand talent and project workload.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as a key liaison between marketing and departments like Sales, Product, and IT to ensure alignment and shared objectives.
  • Champion best practices in marketing operations across the team.

Budget & Vendor Management
  • Assist in developing and monitoring the marketing budget; track spend against goals.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships to maximize value from external partners.
  • Suppoer alignment with external partners to ensure shared understanding of project goals and timelines.

PMO Alignment
  • Ensure all marketing projects adhere to PMO governance, templates, and processes.
  • Partner with the PMO team to promote consistency in project execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO frameworks with marketing-specific insights.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or project management roles.
  • Strong proficiency with marketing platforms specifically project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PMO practices and enterprise-level project governance.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within a PMO or in an enterprise setting with formalized project delivery structures.
  • Background in B2C and/or B2B marketing environments.
  • Ability to translate business goals into operational execution plans.
  • Experience with TEAMS and MS Project for the Web and Asana.
