Description:
We are currently looking for a Marketing Research Analyst whose role will be to provide external and internal consulting services to help our retail customers optimize their marketing activities or develop their business.
Thanks to your technical expertise combined with in-depth business knowledge, you will ensure the successful completion of various types of analysis of medium and high complexity. You will actively participate in the development and improvement of analysis methodologies, processes, tools and data used so that they can be transformed into business recommendations for strategic commercial decision-making.
An important part of the role involves creating reports and PowerPoint presentations that clearly include the various actionable items and recommendations for improving marketing strategies and promoting the growth of retail customers.

GEOTARGETING & LOCALIZED MARKETING
- Design, execute, and optimize hyper-localized marketing campaigns using geotargeting strategies (Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic platforms, etc.).
- Identify key geographic areas for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Analyze foot traffic, mobility data, and store visit attribution to assess campaign impact.
- Segment audiences based on their geographic behavior and develop personalized marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and media teams to integrate geolocation insights into digital and offline campaigns.
- Contribute to innovative marketing strategies by providing analytical expertise on geographic trends and market opportunities.
CREATION OF BUSINESS INSIGHTS AND COMMERCIAL STRATEGY
- Develop the methodology to meet the needs expressed by the client and share it, if necessary, with the team to ensure its execution in the required time.
- Collect, analyze and integrate information by systematically using a variety of internal and external sources, and spatial analysis and data processing tools (datablending).
- Perform multi-criteria analysis, modeling and statistical analysis of data.
DATA STRATEGY FOR THE RETAIL SERVICES AND PRINTING SECTOR
- Support management in conducting economic and commercial studies or analyses.
- Participate in the development and updating of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support internal teams in their market data needs for the development of presentations and promotional materials.
- Analyze the company's performance and provide findings and recommendations based on sales and external data.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, business administration, information management or any other related discipline
- Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in consumer insights or data intelligence to solve marketing business problems, in a field related to retail, consumer or agency, an asset
- Good knowledge of Google tools and digital media analytics platforms
- Knowledge of retail and consumers, the media industry, and the distribution of flyers, an asset
- Knowledge of mapping and spatial analysis software (web and non-web), an asset
- Skills in the development, deployment and analysis of surveys and management of Voice of the Customer, an asset
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written (regular exchanges with English speaking colleague and clients outside Quebec)
