Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Master Data Steward - Vendor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for harmonizing, standardizing, governing, and coordinating the cleansing of Vendor Master Data across Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope and its affiliates. Your expertise in master data management and governance, particularly with SAP S4, C4 Hana, and SAC, will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and usability of our vendor data.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and Guide: Mentor team members on best practices for master data governance, cleansing, and harmonization.
  • Governance Model: Define and implement a Master Data Governance model, establishing processes and approval workflows for creating or modifying master data.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of vendor data across all relevant transactional and analytical systems.
  • Performance Tracking: Define, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of data models and processes.
  • System Collaboration: Participate in system consolidation and updates as needed.
  • Data Management: Compile, prepare, cleanse, analyze, and manipulate large data sets to meet project objectives.
  • Training Development: Collaborate in developing and implementing end-user training and materials on data management practices for internal associates and field locations.
  • Audit Compliance: Define artifacts for reviewing the completeness and consistency of material master data and conduct audits to ensure compliance with established requirements.
  • Team Management: Manage master data stewards, either directly or indirectly.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years in master data management, with a strong background in SAP conversion and deployment.
  • Proficiency in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with enterprise ETL tools.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage global master data sets.
