RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Performing stress analysis and providing technical mentorship to less experienced stress analysts and actively support knowledge transfer.
Generating stress analysis technical memorandums and reports to support data packages, peer reviews, and external customer reviews
Preparing technical charts and represent the organization in design reviews and outside contracts
Supporting structural load test definition, requirements development, monitoring, data reduction, and comparison to analysis effort
Collaborating with design engineers in developing the most practical design, and selection of materials for primary and secondary structures with adequate structural margins of safety, good load paths, low weight, and high producibility.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with NX/Nastran, Abaqus finite element modeling or equivalent
Ability to apply new and advanced analytical techniques necessary to perform structural analysis
Knowledge of and applicable experience with spacecraft or aircraft structural analysis methods, including classical hand calculations and experience with mechanical joints
Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical, aerospace program or equivalent from an accredited college/university and/or equivalent education or experience
Must be a US Citizen, and hold the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
A Master's degree is strongly preferred for this position
Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment
Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently
Non-linear, fracture& fatigue, and buckling analysis experience
Mechanisms, antenna, electronic component, ground support, hoisting, and test support equipment, and composite materials analysis experience
Static, vibration, acoustic, modal, shock test experience of aerospace flight hardware
