MDE - MS Sentinel Specialist

Job Posting: Microsoft Sentinel and MDE Specialist

Are you a skilled IT professional with expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)? We are looking for talented resources for a 2-4 month engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the rollout of MDE across all servers (includes Microsoft, Solaris, Linux) ensuring alignment with MS Sentinel deployment.

• Provide troubleshooting support for MDE to ensure it is reporting properly in MS Sentinel.

• Attend internal CAB meetings to defend changes to the environment and manage rebooking requirements as necessary.

• Offer bi-weekly change request support, which may require varying time commitments based on the number of changes being submitted.

• Analyze and provide statistics, versioning, and other relevant information to support project estimates.

Qualifications:

• Expert level experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills to resolve MDE-related issues particularly pertaining to the installation of server agents.

• Ability to handle operational tasks and complete project milestones independently.

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience in change management and familiarity with change request processes, including writing/submitting change requests.

Success Metrics:

• Ensure the MDE deployment aligns seamlessly with MS Sentinel deployment for comprehensive security and monitoring.
