Location: Plano, TX - ON-SITE
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 - Depending on experience
Requirements: 4+ years in Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, Machine Design, Conveyors, Inventor OR Solidworks/Autodesk
This is a FULL-TIME Position, out of our Plano Plant. We have been in business for over 150 years and are one of the most well-known OEMs in the food manufacturing industry. We are currently doing well. Over the last 2 years, we have increased our headcount by 26%. We are currently in need of a Mechanical Design Engineer with Food manufacturing experience.

What You Will Be Doing
The main area we need help in right away is our Unit Equipment and systems group. Our systems group handles all master layouts for jobs once the job is sold throughout the engineering process. They are responsible for designing and releasing all of the conveyors in the system as well. Ideally, we would like to find candidates that have experience in conveyor/machine design so they can hit the ground running. Right now, we have a product manager for the group and one mechanical engineer working under him. We are seeking someone with great organizational skills.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- 4+ years experience in conveyor/machine/equipment design
- Proficient with Inventor or a similar 3D CAD software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Food/Beverage Manufacturing industry experience is a Plus!
- Automation, Robotics, Spider Robots, Gantry or ABB experience is a HUGE PLUS
