Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer with HVAC and/or plumbing design expertise to join our growing team. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with an excellent compensation package.

Responsibilities:
  • Calculate, design, and generate AutoCAD and/or Revit files and construction documents for MEP engineering needs across a variety of building types (commercial office, schools, healthcare facilities, multifamily, municipal buildings, etc.), with a focus on HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
  • Manage small and large projects, establishing schedules, assigning resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
  • Maintain and organize mechanical engineering-related documents and schedules, along with associated general project documents.
  • Review mechanical design submittals and resolve any issues, conflicts, or questions that arise in the field.
  • Provide project status updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Build and develop relationships to drive new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC or plumbing design and project management; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required; familiarity with HVAC modeling programs such as TRACE700, CHVAC7.0, and/or AIRMaster is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in HVAC/Plumbing design and project management for commercial, multifamily, educational, healthcare, and institutional buildings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with subcontractors, project owners, and other stakeholders.
