Description

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on HVAC systems, cleanroom & cold room environments, and other critical infrastructure. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex engineering projects, with a focus on HVAC and pharmaceutical infrastructure.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, cleanroom environments, and other critical systems in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, and implement best practices within the engineering department.
• Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and plans, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Core Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge and experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, particularly in cold room and cleanroom environments.
• Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Expertise in navigating and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering
• Extensive experience in HVAC systems and cleanroom/cold room design.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering projects in a regulated environment.
