Description:
- Make improvements to equipment and help modernization, installation and/or relocation projects
- Study production-equipment times to establish or revise production standards and make recommendations to optimize production
- Ensure safety of production equipment
- analyze and evaluate the process needs
- Carry out design and optimization of manufacturing processes and related reports
- Prepare engineering documentation
- Communicate with internal clients as required on project basis
- Define the scope of projects and prepare budgets as required and perform detailed technical design for projects
- Provide maintenance with technical support and find solutions to recurring equipment breakdown
- Other duties as required
- Salary: Up to $115,000/yr
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in chemical or mechanical engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process management
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Have a general knowledge of mechanical equipment
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and influence and mobilize the different departments and individuals needed to reach goals
- Customer service oriented
- Occasionally provide first-level support outside of regular working hours
- Comfortable with working in an outside environment
