Description
Job duties: Conduct mechanical engineering projects involved in the design, development, and launch of new automotive interior and sub systems parts from concept to product commercialization; responsible for reviewing manufacturing feasibility using AutoCAD and mold flow software, and providing design feedback to customers; analyze customer automotive part products and interfaces to determine mechanical engineering/design requirements for door panels, interior garnish, grab/safety handles, and consoles, ensuring they meet or exceed internal and customer performance requirements; manage process flowcharts and provide visual aids to all stations on the automotive parts assembly line; analyze and interpret measurement data, verify automotive interior products with customer CAD data, and develop Gantt charts and timelines using Smartsheets; and perform process verification audits internally and at supplier sites, schedule layered audits in the plant, and follow up on any non-conformance findings.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
