About the Role:
Selectek is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced, interdisciplinary design team focused on custom LCD display products for the digital signage industry. The role involves concept creation, mechanical design, thermal and structural analysis, electronic packaging, and manufacturability improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill.
• Design electronic packaging, cooling solutions, and structural components.
• Conduct thermal design and analysis for cooling solutions.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs) and support manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with electrical, optical, software, and industrial engineers.
• Ensure designs meet quality and manufacturability standards.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for existing products.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree a plus).
• 1-10 years of mechanical design experience (not considering 15+ years).
• Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication (preferred).
• 3D CAD experience required (PTC Creo & Windchill preferred).
• Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, or Femap (a plus).
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Location: Alpharetta, GA (30005)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $60K - $120K (Based on Experience)

• 1-5 years of experience: $60K - $90K
• 5-10 years of experience: $90K - $120K

Additional Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM (flexible).
• Work Environment: On-site, no remote work.
• Travel: None.
• Overtime: Occasional.
