Job Description

We are looking to add a Mechanical Estimator to the Grand Rapids team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the preconstruction process by leading conceptual estimating efforts to produce accurate construction cost budgets and estimates. You will work closely with the Preconstruction team to conceptualize and interpret project scopes from incomplete or schematic documents and provide input throughout the design phase.
Responsibilities
  • Lead conceptual estimating efforts to produce accurate construction cost budgets and estimates.
  • Work closely with the Preconstruction team to conceptualize and interpret project scopes from incomplete or schematic documents.
  • Provide input throughout the design phase.
  • Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
  • Review and evaluate project plans and specifications.
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
  • Prepare change orders and manage project budgets.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.
