Tacten is seeking a Rope Access Mechanical Foreman to support our client site in Fort McMurray, AB. As a Rope Access Foreman, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.
Position Information:
- Start: May 3, 2025
- 14/14 rotation with 12 hour days
- Local to Fort McMurray is preferred
- Opportunity is open only to current Acuren/Tacten employees
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations of Technicians, Industrial Trades, Inspectors, and Engineers.
- Respond on a daily basis to inquiries made by Client.
- Provide technical guidance, direction, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians reporting to you.
- Review and approve time sheets and Field Level Risk Assessments, correct deficiencies and provide feedback to technicians.
- Assist in the investigation and documentation of near misses, safety incidents, and non-conformances.
- Participate in Internal and Client-led procedural and process safety and quality audits.
- If required, provide services in situations where no other persons are available to perform the work.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years Industrial experience
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory or leadership experience
- IRATA Certified
- Journeyman Trade ticket is an asset
- Technical report writing skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multi-task and perform under the pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
