Mechanical Project Manager

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing and managing projects, schedules, and scopes while seconded at a client's food manufacturing facility in South London, Ontario.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various offices and disciplines to complete projects successfully.
• Performing contractor walkdowns and bid walkthroughs.
• Reviewing and recommending technical designs, specifications, and reports.
• Monitoring project progress and reporting performance to stakeholders.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.
• Preparing budget estimates and capital approval submissions.
• Overseeing small to medium construction projects as needed.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• A degree in mechanical engineering and three to five years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in project planning and scheduling, particularly in manufacturing environments, including shutdown planning.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems within the pharmaceutical, food, or refinery sectors.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
