Job Description - Lead Engineer
The successful candidate will work under direction of the Director, Nuclear Engineering Consulting, Project Manager and the Materials Engineering Laboratory Manager on both mid and small sized projects. The successful candidate must be a self-starter. Expectations include supporting project goals in accordance with the defined success path, and identification of problem areas for resolution.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
BS Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Masters is a plus
FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) is a plus
Familiarity with Stress and Finite Element Analysis of Pressure Vessels and Piping
Familiarity with Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics
Familiarity with AISC Code and Pipe Support Design
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code membership is a plus
Able to travel ( Demonstrates excellent communication skills with team members and clients
Personable - working in a small office environment
Excellent technical and report writing skills
