Job Description:
  • Seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers with an interest in HVAC system design and consulting engineering. Our multi-disciplinary engineering teams are built on the core values of professional development, dedicated service, and collaboration.
  • We are seeking Mechanical/HVAC Design Engineers for our office in Middletown, CT.
  • Apply principles of mechanical system design, focused in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
  • Perform engineering tasks related to mechanical/HVAC system design from design through construction management.
  • Collaborate as part of the design team and utilize engineering design concepts.
  • Become an expert with Autodesk Revit and Trane Trace applications.
  • Perform engineering calculations, size and select mechanical equipment.
  • Complete RFI's, submittals, engineering surveys and reports
  • Conduct site observations and interact with clients, vendors and contractors.

Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in an accredited Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
  • FE/EIT Certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Proficiency with basic computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • A strong interest and desire to learn building systems design and construction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection.
  • Self-motivated with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
