Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical requirements (architecture, data standards) for a hybrid (centralized and federated) medical imagining data exchange platform to make data available from hundreds of providers using a variety of cloud environments, tools, and architectures.
- Identify security and other relevant requirements/considerations.
- Advise on functionality tradeoffs stemming from technical decisions.
- Contribute to writing selections of solicitations.
- Develop technical requirements.
- Estimate costs and challenges associated with various work/technical decisions.
Education and Requirements
- Federal Client requires US Citizenship.
- Masters in a related field.
- 10 years of experience in cloud computing/multiple cloud environments with medical data repositories or commons.
- Federated system design, implementation, and management experience.
- Prior work on systems supporting medical imaging data, and understanding of medical imaging data standards.
- Experience with systems architecture and design.
- Integration of multiple datasets from disparate sources into a common platform.
