Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Mendix Architect with an Advanced or Expert level of Mendix certification. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and implementing enterprise-grade Mendix applications. This role involves leading development teams, engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and delivering scalable, efficient, and innovative solutions on the Mendix platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Mendix-based applications across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed application designs and Mendix model structures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed in low-code development.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce Mendix standards to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
  • Integrate Mendix solutions with other enterprise systems and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues in Mendix applications.

Qualifications:
  • Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Mendix application development, including at least 3 years in an architect role.
  • Deep knowledge of the Mendix platform, including microflows, pages, entities, and deployment models.
  • Strong expertise in integrating Mendix with third-party systems using REST, SOAP APIs, or OData.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of database design and optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Mendix Marketplace components and reusable modules.
  • Knowledge of custom widgets and JavaScript/Java integrations in Mendix.
  • Exposure to Mendix Studio Pro's advanced features like workflows, native mobile development, and offline capabilities.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Mendix deployment strategies.
