Job Title: Mental Health Clinical Supervisor, ACSW, AMFT, APCC

Department: Office of Diversion

Reports to: Director of Interim Housing

Alcott Center for Mental Health Services, a nonprofit community mental health agency is seeking a Clinical Supervisor. The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality services, efficiency of operations, coordinating services with partner agencies, and fostering collaboration within Alcott Center DHS programs and partner agencies.

Under the direction of the Director of Interim Housing, the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site supervision and support of staff and residents while maintaining the organization and upkeep of the residential facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to assigned associates / therapists, including completion of performance evaluations and staff development plan.
  • Complete and submit court-mandated progress reports.
  • Maintain LPS designation (required to assess and write applications for hold)
  • As needed, conduct intake, assessments, service planning, service delivery, and goal attainment of clients, including orientation to program/housing policies and assignment to case management staff.
  • Assist staff / therapist with crisis management of clients and consult with ODR team as needed.
  • Ensure that services to clients are reflective of Alcott's philosophy, emphasizing customer choice, harm reduction, and psycho-social rehabilitation.
  • Ensure all client paperwork and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databases through on-going audits of electronic databases and chart reviews.
  • Participates in a 24-hour weekend on-call rotation.
  • Ensure adherence to funding source contracts and performance standards; prepare written reports on program activities as assigned.
  • Collaborate with ODR and other partners to complete case consultations and discuss client goals and any difficult cases.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • ACSW, AMFT, or APCC registration (Required), LCSW, LMFT or LPCC (Preferred)
  • 2,000 BBS hours completed (Preferred)
  • Acquire and maintain LPS designation (Required)
  • Experience working with intensive service programs, specifically dual diagnosis, and severe and persistent mental health illness.
  • Knowledge and experience in chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment
  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check including criminal history, personal references, employment, and education verifications.
  • Ability to work with people from various backgrounds and/or limited English capabilities.
  • Experience connecting clients to resources.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required.
  • Proof of valid California Driver's License required, Clean Driving Record required and must be insurable on Alcott policy.
  • Live Scan is required.


If driving a company vehicle is an essential function of your position, you are required to possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable by our insurance carrier.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
