Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed therapist to join our team full-time, providing therapeutic services to special needs youth. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and adolescents with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure individualized, comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the therapeutic needs of special needs youth.
- Utilize a variety of diagnostic tools and methodologies to develop a clear understanding of each child's unique needs.
Individualized Treatment Planning:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans to reflect progress and any changes in the child's condition.
Therapeutic Interventions:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other relevant modalities.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Work closely with families to educate and support them in managing their child's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and other professionals to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the child's care.
Professional Development:
- Stay current with advancements in the field of therapy for special needs youth through continuous education and training.
- Participate in regular supervision, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Position is contracted for approximately 225 days per year.

Requirements:
Licensure:
- Licensed by the State of Wyoming as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), MSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
Experience:
- Experience preferred but not required of working with special needs youth in a therapeutic setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing treatment plans for children with developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges
Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of special needs youth and their families.
Must be able to pass background checks, TB assessment, and driving check.
Must have or have ability to quickly obtain license or certification to provide services in Wyoming.
Salary:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience, pay starting at $80,000 annual salary
