Job Summary:

The MESF SME collaborates with Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) and their Training and Evaluation Unit (TEU) in developing directives and documentation to enable the readiness generation process for the MESF units of action.

Job Summary:
R3 requires a Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) subject matter expert (SME) intimately familiar with training and readiness policies, processes, and procedures. The MESF SME collaborates with Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) and their Training and Evaluation Unit (TEU) in developing directives and documentation to enable the readiness generation process for the MESF units of action.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of MESF directives, service warfighting publications, and force-wide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to develop / refine Unit Level Training (ULT) and its associated training support materials.
- Conduct analysis of other service aviation instructions, policy, and guidelines to develop and maintain standardized United States Navy (USN) Aircraft Security training support materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) / Job Qualification Requirement (JQR), assessment guide, and NTAs.
- Conduct analysis of Navy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (NTTP), Navy PQS / JQR, and Military Sealift Command policy and guidance to assess and deliver standardized Embarked Security training support materials.
- Conduct analysis of Navy / Joint Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures and Naval PQS/JQR to develop standardized basic and advanced training for the boat crews.
- Conduct research and analysis of Chief of Naval Operations instructions (OPNAVINST) and NECC / Naval Education Training Command (NETC) policy/guidelines to align standardized training support materials for MESF warfighting functional areas to support Instructional Systems Design.
- Conduct analysis of operational requirements to develop / refine MESF integrated advanced training plans.
- Conduct analysis of MESF warfighting programs to assess future training and readiness resourcing requirements for the fleet response training plan (FRTP).
- Conduct analysis of NECC/NECCPAC programs and policies to support the development and standardization of MESF warfighting policy and guidance directives.
- Conduct analysis of Naval Reserve directives and guidance, including but not limited to Naval Reserve Force and NECC/NECCPAC, to deliver standardized training and readiness policy directives for the MESF.
- Support MESF's review, revision, and development of warfighting doctrine.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent MESF experience developing training and readiness initiatives in the past 5 years.
- 15 years of operational, training, and readiness experience with warfare qualification, preferably within expeditionary communities.
- Experience delivering oral/written briefings to senior leaders and staff.
- Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft applications.
