You will be the Metric & Data Analyst for the Lockheed Martin team in Ocala, FL. Our team is responsible for driving business decisions and process improvements through data-driven insights, and we're looking for a skilled analyst to help us achieve our goals.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Metric & Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to inform business decisions and drive process improvements. You will play a key role in helping our team make data-driven decisions and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Designing and implementing data models, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and progress towards goals
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
Developing and maintaining databases, data warehouses, and other data management systems
Performing statistical modeling and data mining to identify correlations, predict outcomes, and optimize business processes
Communicating complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Identifying and addressing data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization

Basic Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work on-site in Ocala, Florida
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or Tableau
Experience with data visualization tools
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning concepts
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized records
Desired skills
Degreed in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Experience with data governance and data quality management
Certification in data analysis or related field (e.g. Certified Data Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt)

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
